Description
Western Invader
The early Western class diesil hydraulics were outshopped from Swindon Works in various liveries from green to sand coloured and golden ochre. But it was the attractive maroon coach coloured finish that proved must acceptable.Their main routes were the South of England Paddington to Penzance and also into South Wales territory on passenger workings but near the end of their short working lives (18 years) they could also be found on freight work.
